Christ I'm Chuck is BIG!

I was at a party and some chick asked about the band and where she could hear some of our tunes. We are big I tell ya!

OK. The chick was Landon's Wife Karli, and so maybe we aren't that big, but at least she was curious.

So you ask, we deliver. Christ I'm Chuck mp3s.

Jumpin' Jack Flash - A Christ I'm Chuck classic. Better, tighter, and longer than ever!
Gimme Shelter - Another Christ I'm Chuck classic Stones cover.
Knockin' on Heavens Door - Get your lighters out and hold em up high for this encore classic.

If that isn't enough for you you can shoot me an email to order your very own copy of Christ I'm Chuck's sophmore effort titled "Christ I'm Chuck Rides Again" with all 14 tracks of CIC goodness. Recorded live at Mt. Tabor Studios, this recording is destined to be a collectors edition as soon as the band gets better. Until then they are generally excited about it.

Enjoy!

Happy Fathers Day!

Time flies!

As I was sending out an email to let everyone know the plans to jam on July 4th weekend I remembered what was up a year ago. I had a jam outside on my patio . . . mostly an acoustic jam . . . with Chuck, Bryce, Johnny, Ed, and Landon.

It was quite fun, and I was just learning how to play music with other people. I feel like I have come a long way in just a year. I remember trying to record the whole thing using a single poorly placed condenser mic without a condenser/leveler. The whole recording was a distorted mess.

So now I am playing regularly with some guys known loosely as Christ I'm Chuck, doing a much better job of getting useful recordings, and having a ton of fun playing music.

A testament to what a wonderful tool Blogger is can be found in my archives.

Bryce's Graduation Party

Bryce Graduated and has a job! He had a party to celebrate and he and Shyle and their drummer played in Bryce's back yard. They sounded great and it was a lot of fun. Aside from my daughter jamming along with her mini-maraca the highlight for me was listening to the song called "FLY" which is what we call the Bryce song. It sounds very different when played by Shyle and company. I almost feel bad for the horrible things that we have done to it.
