Rock the Barn '06

Rock the Barn '06 was a huge success. Thanks to Leslie and Candy for hosting us, thanks to Chuck and Deb for all their work. Thanks to Mississippi Barnyard Surprise (Mindi Hall, Shyle Ruder and Bryce Baker), Christ I'm Chuck (Tim Sauser, Bryce Baker, Chuck Mundorff and myself), thanks to Sean Flaherty for blowing his harp with us. Thanks to everyone that came, ate, drank and rocked with us. Thanks to all the kids for having fun too! Thanks to Mother Nature for cooperating!

I think we were invited back to the farm again, so stay tuned!

Barn Rock Directions & Map

  1. From Portland, take I-5 to I-405 to Highway 30 (St. Helens Highway). It is about 20 miles NW to Scappoose, where you take a frontage road called Old Portland Rd. to Dutch Canyon.
  2. To get to Dutch Canyon, just before you enter Scappoose, turn left off of Hwy. 30 by the SHELL station; and then turn right immediately onto Old Portland Road, go about 1 mile, then turn left on Dutch Canyon.
  3. If you miss the turn at the SHELL Station, turn left at the first signal in Scappoose (which is Havlik Rd, between McDonald’s and Fred Meyer’s), go one block to the dead end, turn left on Old Portland Road and go 1 block, turn right on Dutch Canyon
  4. Go a little over 4 miles on Dutch Canyon.
  5. At the intersection with E.M. Watts, you need to turn left at the stop sign to continue on Dutch Canyon.
  6. Pass Rabinsky on the right and Bangston on the left, then turn right on Lake Drive, a gravel road. We are the last of 8 homes - keep coming past the other driveways (which look a lot like the road, but they have numbers) until the road ends; don’t turn off in either direction. You will see the house on your left at the end of a long drive way.
  7. Park in front of the house on the lawn.

The Phone # at the house is: 503-543-5345
