A gig

We have a gig upcoming. A friend of the band is having a Halloween party and she thought it would be good if we played at her party. I made a few calls and everyone was in, except our drummer made it very clear that he would only play if the Bass player was there. We were good to go and everyone was able to make it, although due to busy schedules and travel issues we were not going to be able to practice prior to the gig.

Then . . . sadly our Bass player has to travel to Texas during that time and our drummer doesn't want to play . . . . all this happens while I am out of town on business. This blog post is the resultof this band crisis: http://mikkirod.blogspot.com/2005/10/i-am-involved-with-temperamental.html

And I though being in a band would be fun.

Are you not having fun, Chris? This is just the beginning of your fun. For someone who doesn't want the divaman label, you are sure working hard to earn it with all this whining. You're supposed to just rock out and not give a shit what anyone thinks.

Don't start Charles. You are asking for trouble. The divaman term was born after I got off the phone with YOU the other day. Chris is an innocent victim in all of this.

I thought women were supposed to be difficult. I never expected this much nit-picking and boo-hooing from a bunch of "men". Just shut up and play already.

one short stint recovering from surgery and I get way behind on the war of the blogs. or battle of the bands as it would be. Is the band going to dress up as the Wiggles? That was still my favorite suggestion.
